1. Nationality and Age: The applicant must be of Kuwaiti nationality and at least 16 years old*
   
   
2. Crimes Involving Honor and Integrity: The applicant must not be involved in any crimes that violate honor and integrity unless their reputation has been restored. If found otherwise, the center reserves the right to take necessary actions to protect its rights.
   
   
3. Applicant's Commitment: The applicant is required to provide any information or periodic updates about the innovation or invention to be registered, as well as personal information.
   
   
4. Applications from Non-Kuwaitis or Companies: Companies and applicants from GCC countries or expatriates in Kuwait can apply by paying the full fees in addition to administrative fees.
   
   
5. Targeted Sectors: Priority for patent registration is given to ideas in the following sectors: Education, Health, Water and Food Security, Energy and Environment, Digital Transformation.
   
   
6. Registration Steps: The center follows the recognized method for registering patent ideas known as “Provisional” as the first step, followed by the “Nonprovisional” method after completing all registration requirements.
   
   
7. Prohibited Fields: Ideas related to military weapons or harmful materials are not accepted. Ideas that contradict local laws or ethical standards are also not registered.
   
   
8. Inclusion of the Center's Name: The name of the Sabah Al Ahmad Center for Giftedness and Creativity will be included in the patent certificate as a moral right.
   
   
9. Idea Registration: The center registers ideas in Kuwait, as well as in regional and global markets.
   
   
10. Maintenance and Additional Costs: After receiving the final patent, the center will cover the patent maintenance fees up to the seventh year. The inventor is responsible for following up on the remaining patent maintenance fees.
    
    
11. Providing Complete Information: The applicant is required to provide comprehensive information about the idea, including their academic background, relevant experience, drawings, and related documents.
    
    
12. Novelty of the Idea and Non-Publication: The idea must be new and not previously published before its registration.
    
    
13. Withdrawal from the Project: The inventor has the right to withdraw from registering the idea at any time, provided they obtain written approval from the center. If the inventor does not respond to the center, the idea registration request will be considered canceled.
    
    
14. Signing Required Agreements: Signing the agreements related to patent registration (confidentiality, code of conduct, etc.). It should be noted that submitting the idea to the system does not constitute the center’s approval to register the idea.

1. الجنسيـة والعمـر: المتقدم يجب أن يكون كويتي الجنسية وعمره *16 عامًا فما فوق.

2. الجـرائـم المخـلــة بالشرف والأمانة: لا يجوز للمتقدم أن يكون متورطًا في أي جرائم مخلة بالشرف والأمانة ما لم يرد إليه اعتباره، وإذا تبين عكس ذلك فللمركز الحق في إجراء ما يلزم لحفظ حقه.  

3. الـتــزام المتقــدم: يلتزم المتقدم بتقديم أي معلومات أو تحديثات دورية عن الابتكار أو الاختراع المراد تسجيله، بالإضافة إلى معلوماته الشخصية.

4. التقديم لغير الكويتيين أو الشركات: الشركات والمتقدمين من دول مجلس التعاون الخليجي أو الوافدين في دولة الكويت يمكنهم التقديم مع دفع الرسوم كاملة بالإضافة إلى الرسوم الإدارية.  

5. القطاعات المستهدفة: أولوية تسجيل الأفكار كبراءات اختراع في القطاعات التالية (التعليم - الصحة - المياه والأمن الغذائي - الطاقة والبيئة - التحول الرقمي).

6. خـطـــوات التسجيـــل: يتبع المركز طريقة تسجيل أفكار براءات الاختراع المتعارف بها باسم “Provisional ” كخطوة أولى، ويتبع طريقة التسجيل بطريقة “Nonprovisional ” بعد استكمال كافة متطلبات التسجيل بها.  

7. المجالات المحظورة: لا يتم قبول الأفكار المتعلقة بالأسلحة العسكرية أو المواد الضارة. ولا يتم تسجيل أفكار تتعارض مع القوانين المحلية أو المعايير الأخلاقية.

8. إدراج اسم المركز: يتم إدراج اسم مركز صباح الأحمد للموهبة والإبداع في شهادة براءة الاختراع كحق أدبي.  

9. تسجيل الأفكـار: يقوم المركز بتسجيل الأفكار في الكويت وفي الاسواق الإقليمية والعالمية.

10.  الصيانة والتكاليف الإضافية: بعد استلام براءة الإختراع النهائية يتحمل المركز رسوم صيانة براءة الاختراع لغاية السنة السابعة، ويتكفل المخترع بمتابعة رسوم صيانة براءة اختراعه المتبقية.  

11.  تقـديـم المعلومـات الكاملة: يلتزم المتقدم بتقديم معلومات شاملة عن الفكرة وخلفيته العلمية والخبرات ذات الصلة، وتقديم الرسومات و المستندات المتعلقة بالفكرة.

12.  حداثة الفكرة وعدم نشرها مسبقًا: يشترط أن تكون الفكرة جديدة، وألا يكون قد تم نشرها قبل تسجيلها.  

13. الانسحاب من المشروع: يحق للمخترع الانسحاب من تسجيل الفكرة في أي وقت، بشرط الحصول على موافقة خطيه من المركز، وفي حال عدم تجاوب المخترع مع المركز يعتبر طلب تسجيل الفكرة ملغي.
    
    
14. توقيع الاتفاقيات المطلوبة: توقيع الاتفاقيات الخاصة بتسجيل براءات الاختراع (السرية وقواعد السلوك .... إلخ ). مع العلم بانه لا يعتبر تقديم الفكرة على النظام موافقة المركز على تسجيل الفكرة.
